Two decades ago, after a career changing injury, I began a new vocation in the healthcare industry working as a nurse. It was a passion of mine to study medicine and to help others. What I learned was allopathic medicine; I thought it was the only way to go with regard to the care of patients. After suffering a stroke, at the age of 47, I became more interested in alternative medicine as the medications the doctors were giving me didn’t seem to do much good; they just made me lethargic and I just never felt well or have much energy.
My wife, Katherine, and I began searching for ways to improve our health. It was Katherine’s parents who introduced us to New Spirit Naturals. Her father had just had his prostate removed after being diagnosed with cancer.
